The Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association (ECBEA) and the Chinese Graduates Association of Alberta (CGAA) are seeking volunteers to help out at the Chinese Pavilion during the 36th Annual Edmonton Heritage Festival 2011. Come out for a day of fun and sun, meet people from all over the globe, and best of all, come celebrate Chinese culture,' d0 [3 X4 K& B" h, ^6 s1 f
tradition, and food!

Who can help?
" j* m3 ?* J; X# M2 RAnyone can! No experience is needed, and on-site training will be provided to all. This is2 Y; T, m( G) ~) w6 H% q% y5 b
an excellent opportunity for students to earn volunteer credit. (Age 14 and over

What will volunteers be doing?

 Serve food and drink to festival visitors

y0 F/ m7 w: m* p Entertain visitor with fortune telling game
) I% G; V$ }4 Z1 {$ k Demonstrate and write Chinese calligraphy
; ^; ]" _. ?# U1 b7 G6 i( p4 u Run the sound system for stage performers, MC if needed

 Demonstrate various Chinese artistic cultural skill e.g. painting, drawing, crafts,

 Play or demonstration a cultural sport/act on stage e.g. acrobats, martial arts,( d! W5 M ~' Z2 @1 A
