如何判断日本车的产地是否来自日本

我的认知是这要序列号的第一个字母以 J 开头，就是日本产的，如果是1K 什么的，就可能是别的其它国家加工生产的。

有没有内行的能给点更详细的解释

俺的车是10年的，所以应该是日本的

there is a sticker somewhere under the hood that indicates the place of manufacture.
e.g:Made in Japan. lot of times, they even display the initials of the QC/QA personnel. just take a look around.

You are right. The first one or two of the VIN number shows the place of manufacture.
