Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:' }# e6 X: k! o/ `) t
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;2 z$ h9 v1 O4 N$ q9 t$ t9 k
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.' L* s R8 N' o) [& K
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.) @% [! g( X7 q8 r% h, _8 ?
