Position:        Youth Leader
% @) S$ u' p5 \Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
1 w. i3 a$ Q4 V, ]Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
% y1 ?- c0 T" o( [Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

' H, m% R. p2 mDuties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

: M. S( o6 X1 E3 X. a( s; Z( a Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
" `0 \1 t: M+ x1 J  { Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
: n7 f/ E# F7 w9 V: w$ g) { Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
6 Z0 S& e. k4 N7 p- b Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
* K0 p0 ~7 R. M3 Q, G Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

8 p/ t# i/ u: L. c: s# @4 Z4 a Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
( k9 w  Q: P* ` A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
8 m: R. Y! v( W  Y Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
$ T* V  P/ p9 k$ D Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
* r( K* J6 y6 g1 {8 U Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
