Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)

*might work in other time in some specific days

! q1 A  l6 v6 r- OTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
4 d6 O# U4 r+ R4 n) T
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
: ?+ ^9 A$ ~2 [6 L Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
4 R, L* G5 O# p1 r1 ]! y, [! p9 S Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
2 \) m5 z: H: R0 Z" N1 x Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
2 Y3 }( B4 {4 O/ s Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
, Z( g" H! }5 T, F$ F. O Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
# \- ^  Q7 U& @/ f$ k Assist in program planning/design
$ F2 ~- H( w: n5 M8 M5 M Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

; b* I( _9 B  R/ t8 Q# b2 ] Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
4 |% u  [+ [% O! K& H6 c A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
6 C3 y8 e9 G# x Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
6 H- u6 s/ G- R% z+ a" [+ K Able to work independently with minimum supervision
; h' @( E& B& c. |# U Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
; @* C; g4 \7 [7 ^  B' ]+ c Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
