The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
8 T& z- M! Y0 J6 k  [• Program implementation
1 N' F; L+ z- i; [# L: ~• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
. g7 p" \1 P4 |4 Z5 j4 U5 A' Q• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
( q/ ~! l7 O  h+ d( H• Behavior management
( U- n- F' h4 s% V% w( v' a• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
; U* `3 t2 E  t% @, z+ H- A• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
5 k( Z  ~2 ~, I& g6 t5 Y• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
8 o2 e+ M% k4 _. K6 w% p: d• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
7 E2 t- V0 A8 j6 _8 x$ J• Standard First Aid with CPR
; K! C+ d* X. [$ N( c8 I0 O# ^• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
9 O- i7 X& @' Y5 V3 @4 G3 s$ ?! o• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
8 N( s2 Q3 c3 N* u  W$ w+ B• Good verbal and written communication skills
$ n, {0 `  e/ f, r• Experience with personal care
1 r1 h2 o- x- n. p! W• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
