The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community" Z+ G$ A' \/ d2 K2 s+ z5 P8 @
• Program implementation
% s6 e1 t5 s/ `1 y9 \- R• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
; E E! k- z) U• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
, B% Y1 X R6 w; f- R& [, j3 v• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals5 A- b3 Q7 ~' t2 F# U
• Behavior management6 V+ w" j# K% t4 O% B
• Medication Administration

Minimum Qualifications:
% h$ }$ W0 S( ]- J9 n+ X# YEducation+ t" @7 x% @: C
• Completion of a high school diploma% l/ K- Z" o# j8 C/ S: Q
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
% p2 L; w; \& g0 v% q9 ETraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)9 ^) M# {* M& x) x
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
8 ]5 V' w% w; f# F• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)! }) P" C, ]0 _3 r2 y4 B
• Standard First Aid with CPR
$ k) O8 s/ C8 W6 p• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training& F8 m3 }& Z7 J+ Q& v; Z
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment- X( J/ W/ \5 i( c4 t
