The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
3 ?+ l& w* t  ^! g  L; n• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
3 Z, \3 c0 G4 t- G8 C- K• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
3 }6 X' h" l) c0 L$ [3 Y! ]• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR

$ v2 J: Q( S9 i• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
, O( O7 R7 l3 e4 Z' e" p• Good verbal and written communication skills
' r- x. V2 U/ U) L• Experience with personal care
; P$ _; Q* h& u- {: A2 @8 z• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
* H$ o6 s: g. D5 dSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
