The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
8 w0 P& U1 U" Q8 i% l# C% K• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
* X; J4 A5 [6 O0 K5 m! C$ L• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
( X, r# Z4 n+ o' Y/ i- x• Medication Administration
, d4 _3 l8 Q2 _* A7 A% @  ?• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

; f% G8 L( q% h- [5 BMinimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
2 H1 u: I) f/ ?* f, ]• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
. h& l2 p2 H4 O, z• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
: L' w% J" ^0 @% ^. i• Standard First Aid with CPR
+ p& P1 F4 _/ S( h$ Y• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
