A recent interview with an older mother in Britain (via The Daily Telegraph ) offers an interesting take on the debate about age and motherhood, in particular whether there should be an age limit when it comes to choosing the option of IVF.

( d1 N! r9 q. x/ ] z H j, i* J/ gIn 2008, Tollefson underwent IVF treatment at a Russian clinic. Using an egg from a donor and her partner's sperm, she went on to become pregnant at the very ripe old age of 57 and gave birth to a healthy daughter, Freya.
