Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:, _4 a& O* u& }# V5 c% l
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.- q1 J* A" X) e& K3 Q: o# t
• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
5 O, N" u/ f+ S• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.( ~( d' p2 T5 b
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.9 u' t3 d% x/ p% M
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 3 k8 I l" T$ C4 Z0 G3 x! I7 u0 x
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
+ A. f- K& O7 G1 j• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required." h z" |; q6 \" T/ T/ K
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
6 s9 Y4 s" y" V3 D) M& l7 l6 H+ y. q• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
$ r" j' P* J# `: r( a; h( q& T• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.9 K0 `+ }; F' y' x/ B$ _. L# M
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.9 {3 E( p5 B% O% X( i
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications+ O0 X. O- Y u, {" |8 Y- Q
Requirements:; a0 l7 D! r! R* b# f
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
# i* S2 |6 L( j0 ?+ Y0 R* l• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 9 P/ J/ o8 a( s6 b1 \1 j( W$ N0 v
• Strong Union Relations experience required.
9 @0 Q" I4 n( S" |4 ^7 B4 \1 `# ^• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.3 b5 h L1 \: U6 k2 }
• CHRP Designation is an asset.
