Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

, S& G& |0 @0 e; z( E• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members./ }8 D' P) y5 |8 q' V( h
• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.5 w" b* X: z/ n7 o: R8 ?/ D$ _* m
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
+ N4 O5 x! g! S$ U# i, S& A/ ]• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. : b$ r$ W3 y, R- |
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
0 r& m n! o3 Y7 D. Y( Z3 L& `$ M• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.1 e/ u. ] g; d7 ^
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
8 Z6 n+ \2 w3 m5 _: c5 u• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
+ O* X8 R3 T! c• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.9 y2 A4 j1 b$ V8 Q
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
$ H7 o1 u* A- i) ^' s• Attend and participate in departmental meetings., y5 V' t5 j4 P7 l, ~
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
+ J `; o' L, {$ g• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
+ M8 L3 Q0 D+ y* D: Q9 l j• Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:
/ z+ I8 ~) @3 P8 [• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
! f; f3 x4 \' {) M$ t N8 Q H* J• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
# k/ }4 l. v& K% w1 h0 @# Z4 r• Strong Union Relations experience required. , P( e" k1 q- o9 L( W: J( _
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.' f) Z9 C% F0 \9 U! Q- T/ y
• CHRP Designation is an asset.
