Description
! G+ b- Q+ H' d2 K0 \( nTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.& t+ ^, m3 I6 d' u! C
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
! \) z9 M6 G( O•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
4 L+ B7 ]  K( z' Z( D$ V* w3 Z. E9 F4 L•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.$ V8 M$ S4 J6 a+ X  S2 [: R
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
6 D+ d8 r# u. b9 {" r6 z& N•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.5 ~9 y' q! f- f/ e
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
1 W! n% u$ g+ G+ @•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.3 C! N1 E; i6 O* B; e: g
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
1 G* T! ?$ s. |1 B•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
5 b; {% {# d/ H2 a% Y5 H  l5 }$ e•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP)./ ~1 O% {$ t% C7 t$ F
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.+ L6 F- z4 H- F# d
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
2 R0 L9 \5 R0 q6 _•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.4 Z) T- o* _' W+ c+ e% P% f' d. D
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.9 g  B( }$ v# x2 M7 i: x
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

5 t) z  r- {* `Qualifications
& N) X8 a6 n* w% M% P3 p% ~8 H4 ARequirements:# \, U: L- p" e
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
9 h8 U" y: ~( }- m1 U0 S- ]•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
- v! k' V/ s) I. X& ~8 {2 ^& m•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
: \) u" _3 U3 u•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.) s* x& J2 Y( e4 U/ [7 l1 _# Z
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
