- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties/ E7 H* @, s5 t* v8 J) U
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties
7 g/ s; {; m3 M r) d% ]8 n5 v- provide volunteers for various programs
; f- s7 w' P" N$ v4 {) Y- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual
9 L" A+ c- b" x3 _- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation% n* E# \" L! ], }7 n
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities* U }. [- M+ i5 ~+ t! ]6 [" @
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services# k9 z' d$ U3 b# E8 B9 h! T8 d
- assist in writing ISP proposals and reports& Y7 `6 k3 m J* }- |
- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed

5 J& `" I8 P+ h9 r( V- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events % C! {. I3 e: |7 v+ f/ H5 c3 A! q9 _
- development and distribution of a volunteer manual ( D5 p) S% H& r$ h6 P+ h; T
- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers
/ p/ _! h* g& \& H4 J- planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers
$ M' {( S, H0 F9 a1 L( u% q( `- consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education; v/ \+ @2 f5 l% v I% m# i4 K
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
4 X2 s& ]' @5 C* |- u- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services
