Position:          Retail Trade Supervisor (NOC 6211)

Wages:          $16.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:         Rotational shifts, days / evenings / weekends

Job Description:
8 f! R* O8 x" h7 |- W/ g" R% a•        Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
+ q( z  a' D5 O% q/ j$ U8 s•        Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
•        Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
& v+ I( N: B1 P* L% p! q•        Sell merchandise to customers
. B& T+ m  D; N3 q$ B•        Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
( @8 n  C0 ?8 n0 h•        Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
$ n4 ]; K7 m& L4 k1 o  U( R•        Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
•        Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff


Employment requirements:
# J6 |$ D; p" Y% ~$ O* |•        Completion of secondary school is required
; M2 U- W0 W% i& ?& [•        1 year  work experience as retail salesperson
