CALGARY — A teen girl was taken to Foothills Hospital in potentially life-threatening condition Monday morning after a head-on collision that involved a "complicated extrication" near Chestermere.5 o3 X! L0 F1 K: T

The female driver in her mid-teens, who was the lone occupant of the small car, sustained serious and potentially life-threatening injuries and needed to be extricated from the vehicle by fire crews.& t$ j- H9 r5 U$ c5 L

STARS Air Ambulance was called to take the girl to the Foothills Hospital.
