Mandatory Qualifications:

•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities
$ N4 r9 l' ]: d* I
9 I  r  H* {% n•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs
  d3 ^' ~5 H" X" O
•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

2 M5 j. E# f+ C- n" L•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.

•        have the equivalent of a Canadian bachelor’s degree and a completed education credential assessment
