* B* ? m6 ?/ p0 _' C3 _Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person4 B- D% J* B$ Z) F" k) `$ Y/ C
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST R+ H4 n, H, }; R0 a2 D6 O2 E$ x) T
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately% q8 F2 W- `2 D! f
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter5 @/ X0 q/ X Y
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents" l2 `( o; t' J0 d/ u4 S$ `- Q
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker9 Y& n3 V! c: D
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters. z, \# ^) I+ ^9 D% ^
• Maintain front counter service files; `; a7 B7 C7 A3 F3 S: k

• Report to ISP Program Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:8 ~4 O* E* e& V- h) }
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
3 k; X7 e& k$ i: k9 s• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset/ p/ K0 ~% E- s$ e) [6 K" h8 g7 {
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
) s5 c0 E7 w a4 }• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
- F/ q& I$ c" @* Z6 o• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook/ \) A$ K8 S7 y' P& D. U$ g6 Q+ g
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:
4 K6 f2 Z) b- h• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience + a- f# [& J8 D* i' E1 @! R5 z
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
: E- H q- @8 y• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism1 g7 S6 B" q! H2 `' I+ y- F
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision3 z7 E: b3 D/ S: p1 A6 N5 N. f) { E! s
