' O/ n( x, f9 A. G·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

7 g- n3 q2 p8 t$ G$ p6 g5 Y6 b2 e·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

" G7 w$ p% @* C; x" `·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

- I0 {, D& v# G·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

" h; z- y1 w9 Q- t$ Q·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

  ~) z, ~9 U$ b·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

% ~$ I8 V  c: y3 G0 v·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.


Position Requirements

2 Z  ]) m2 p6 O·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

9 y8 t4 ?, E* R( H·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

/ Z$ k3 J# H4 j& \·         Attention to detail is a must

·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

3 @4 z: A9 S5 V; y, D! W·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

. A% I) j2 N0 r. t4 I( R% l- O·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously
