Job Description
( k2 i- w: }, A-promote the Centre and ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
( l$ m4 r; i0 E" U; n: U* O-promote Centre and ISP programs in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
1 F& m$ Z( n! J/ W-develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP and Centre
! F) ^2 {- w' B& \6 Y( P-recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
( ]- Y: a. E8 v9 Z9 Q3 }-promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
-outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
-attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
-adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
-report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
-recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications
" k8 L1 \. A+ C2 y7 T! L, f-degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
9 V; b  `0 y, [: r( F& n& C9 M9 I-knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
-good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
+ i7 t, [0 t* ~- K2 A" }-fluent in English and Chinese
+ B! M! K. m# y/ S( N+ {1 d2 u-good interpersonal and people skills
