Job Description:
$ f" L3 |  Y9 s/ [, ITo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.
, g1 o* M4 I% V/ W4 B% O" g
• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
9 u. X5 _& C5 W5 @/ Z• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
: Z7 t8 _( }7 V& V$ g& w• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
( D; n! Y* C* b3 d' T• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;

• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

• Ability to lead and develop;
, P# h% R2 B, i' ?2 S. U* y• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
