To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.& a& F0 A# w, `3 q. Y- b

9 `4 o( E! I: E  z• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
7 Z7 M* L) H$ x; t0 M/ r6 ?& W: `; }• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;2 r. U* N  m- Z- g. D3 l3 a8 C
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
/ x/ Z& [8 Z0 {7 b- A; o- ~) d• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
% _: d" |5 A+ Y, W1 n1 {5 j* {1 y• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.; r1 G& z3 l8 r' L" x+ Q6 H
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
5 @0 t0 V6 E0 K2 n4 ~9 d& h" s• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
8 G$ \0 K$ D6 c' {0 c" E7 J• Participate in trade shows;
9 g  E2 K# f( j( V: ?& A• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
# M( k$ N0 |  H8 v( ~+ ~; s• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;  D! z  r0 H6 J
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
1 \6 \4 l5 j/ r" v• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
) i. S2 _9 P( _6 K$ G4 k  t  o•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
4 ~9 q( h7 X: t- v  d7 z( E• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;. t& }5 R, S  j- T2 A
• Ability to lead and develop;
9 g+ b2 ?( [6 ~2 \; v# h: C/ r+ |• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;6 C1 a8 V8 B1 @( t3 x
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
! ]) U; s3 d. `: a) P- \' c• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;' c2 x; n5 @7 ~$ e! f; N, M$ U1 V
• Ability to work within deadlines;

• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
