To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

, Z: r! `! {- K• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
* z( D4 `* e1 f" z: J• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;# W  W- e! ?- e1 a, K6 q7 t0 T
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
+ c0 z: S6 S2 q6 _. S5 X/ f• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
% q5 K% r3 o( V+ K) `# J  N• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.7 k7 R" q$ t) j7 ^0 R/ h
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;* v* ^; C' Y& J; H" t2 L1 N
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;- q( D( r$ f' ?; a
• Participate in trade shows;
) |! U' g. S0 {. ~• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
2 I& H3 T- R8 ~: [! @  g• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
+ _. c. m$ Q  {• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:
* Y9 ~9 ?: J5 Z$ K•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property6 J) V$ T) v( S3 c" p5 D
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
) d7 U' _4 ?+ n2 L! `• Ability to lead and develop;0 a9 @* i, G. {: W8 L
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
( p6 o( p3 t8 O6 f" u; n2 E- K8 ^• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;. n5 n, J. n" {5 ]: R! S
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
