+ p; }7 [- P0 m* @- r9 ~• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
* V) Q9 j5 ?$ P2 ]• Oversee hotel security requirements. 0 C3 V8 q0 R L2 x
• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.: m/ X: w! X _" n* G
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. . \( r. W& w) ^' e8 v1 [% g$ T
• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel." s& i Z1 H) v: s8 S
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
: K9 B2 T: y. j' N• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
. X* j2 C1 O& `% e1 j6 s7 J5 a• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.

• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.

• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. 9 B0 j' M3 Y* l r2 C4 f
• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.' f0 K1 W5 f7 ]& |
• Attend Cluster meetings.
$ I% `: _* @' ]3 m+ I8 G' B- A. O• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
# q9 u7 G; E" N( {4 X Z• Handle PMS computer problems in each department # P( o* d& O9 z) E1 \7 M
• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
# m4 W* \5 r* L+ e6 ^• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center$ e+ ^ N2 I- H
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

Requirements:
% d0 x: M: }# t5 }•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property+ z+ I" B1 ?8 |9 c0 q" C5 z
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
, j1 ^% {3 s0 t/ t/ r5 C. c• Ability to lead and develop;
# @. {+ s& ` o3 E1 J, x• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
! p; u; M2 e: A$ @$ n• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
