Fish作为食物原料来讲的时候,是不可数名词。我们i说I ate an apple 但是不说 I ate a fish(不知道在猫的语言里是不是这样讲), 8 m; \3 T! }$ t4 s9 b说I like seafood and I can eat a whole fish for dinner.还差不多, 通常就说 fish。这时候就是不可数的。6 Z$ l( G* P# o: L6 N7 r ]
我们去钓鱼的时候,fish就是可数的了,但是记住,你钓了几条?one fish, two fish,都是fish,而不是 two fishes。: u2 U: K/ R0 g
难道fish的复数就是fish本身吗。也是也不是。同一种Fish的复数就是fish,fishes是用在不同种类的fish时候 ! D$ t, k2 `/ i1 _ ]/ j Q9 ~ c7 w2 ]0 I

According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common. ' \2 q/ [6 D2 d# ~9 n + ?" i. W% p. F- `We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. ; R8 Q( p* I* ]+ m; @

Fish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper.
