•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services : ~7 o+ d* f7 A6 u, ^- Y- Y. o/ P
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
5 G) @1 S$ O R% ^! d4 f: S•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
) B# C2 j5 O- y$ @1 K' T•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
+ e' B; \# |2 P- ^4 ?( D•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

/ h% p. {8 r' ?5 N( a9 _- J•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
# H* P" r7 K/ p•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
% s+ D6 o( R1 U$ @* z) B" F5 C•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;7 Q6 B7 c) u3 Y3 }0 H
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential " ^/ @$ |/ T+ ^$ v- K _6 P1 b
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.% u$ j4 b6 G9 ^3 v3 \" q
