4 \1 j1 `7 X3 A! ?3 c, \3 J•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
0 o: _7 R) \- @1 J, g1 x. r3 F•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

Q- _% Q1 Z, c8 v$ a: n0 f7 {•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
' B y+ G7 R- K* X•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.2 r4 {, K3 n4 T- k5 m
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:9 t% T% T O+ s7 @: H* w
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;# b3 n% I1 ~& W
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;; z9 b4 m0 x, B
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
# H0 ]2 d$ Y1 }9 r) I3 b•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 8 D; A/ X4 A4 L& ?& {, V) \- w. [
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.. Y8 U. i8 A& R) y. C& T
