Key Responsibilities are as follows:2 G- R Z7 U' d6 M
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services

F$ {+ @•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies5 f) n: ^& h2 a4 G& z* x# e
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
% ]$ r: z4 v& S! m: \•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.

Qualifications:3 x9 k! n( A& F/ P
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
0 `" j9 L! o- }4 Q v/ E7 O7 Y•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
& z1 `, q% S% Y p. d, \' b•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;6 X" @5 ^$ r" z+ f7 t7 b& D$ d
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
+ p. K0 X) N" D1 j# N8 }* H- u j•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.1 f1 v3 _) _7 k9 {4 G( N
