! p, r5 O, {- N9 @, v7 f•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
5 @. _7 S; _; m0 I4 ~•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
+ [ D) W4 F* i8 {•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
" L I0 A' H, T* \6 O5 F•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
' J) f) h% [! {•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
2 j6 ]! B( q- j& L" @•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;6 c% |/ ~/ V- `
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;: Q4 \1 l1 a& \; m% x! x
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 1 o( ?& i0 v0 o" I
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
