Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales! _6 X6 G1 W; M7 B7 F& D4 p6 \/ [

Key Responsibilities:

$ M0 p7 _- J2 x• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

9 Y: e4 ~6 k6 _! \7 D• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.; D4 i+ ~: o: D7 x. f A

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.' a% ^0 B7 K2 ~+ E @5 K, U9 P

Job Qualifications. l* e9 I5 C! B# P6 ^
• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

( @5 F, g+ }+ r! H5 x3 a• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

+ V/ @+ B3 W4 G5 f• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
" H0 l' D% v5 o% U0 z! ]
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

4 e, Q% S% k, p! C- v5 z' }• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

• Travel within the assigned region.

• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
