Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:
5 a3 X. b7 v5 M" l2 }
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

0 ? v' r) p W! ?4 l• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.
; J0 J+ L7 `& N
• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.) t/ J3 Y+ w& k) J) H7 K9 C

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

$ z5 n: m, [# e6 h& l/ }• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

0 Y, ^: x. W t3 V* Y% N• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

6 c, ^. C. Z+ U6 w: X. t, {• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
; n2 G) r; E$ j) k3 g; a" d# j% _
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
* o# j b% f; {" G
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
9 ^2 ^- j* b( b6 M/ ]; p2 m
• Travel within the assigned region.

7 X) h" ^9 o, G9 O% j9 K& o• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
