Position Summary:
6 _- s+ k/ K- s/ P  v; h: ^To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.; {0 q2 k; @6 o5 V
) M; g# A* w" m$ \# r7 d  S
Primary Objective/Duties of position:
4 V) e' [9 r; m6 r: l; I
  T% ~  n. M( d# {, n    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
! T6 F, ^" s; u% ^, H    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
# _# G/ Y. Y! O    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients9 t. x/ ^( t! c4 F/ q( p
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
) p; h. h9 V3 N, z" R4 }    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals* n7 j: |7 U1 L
    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes2 l5 S& U/ O8 G
    Actively participate in training initiatives
/ M  Y! g. O# F0 k; Z0 F! A( `9 C* c    Participate in community marketing initiatives
0 w8 B- Z# G3 a  D( M' j9 Y8 T  P' v7 `
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:( i7 z2 G* E) L( a
1 @& A4 ~5 N: E! h  ?
    High School and or Post Secondary Education
- R$ y' U9 G: Z8 l    Previous customer service experience
( U& T+ X5 [% A9 x    Previous sales experience an asset  o- z  s* V5 G0 D! g+ T4 y- u
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
( W- {$ p  U3 r* P5 \    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
) m8 D$ N) R& h* e    Strong analytical and organizational skills# t; _2 ~2 d* ]% g* T3 f
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills% Z1 W0 A9 R% e6 a6 I# J7 S
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
