Position Summary:
4 P+ l6 C! s2 \5 C5 L7 p6 r9 {" g1 hTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.7 ` D3 z2 ^6 N; H& V/ {

Primary Objective/Duties of position:( A E1 C. S5 L4 m) }' I" f" |% g
* K# i3 n- F, x4 {+ _ Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
& Y1 P' o- t5 h1 A5 F7 S Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business3 j* W0 T; E( B3 t
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients- t3 f+ W$ h( e" [/ w9 m% ?6 J& T
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
4 R b. x2 W6 j0 \ Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals- x+ h* g0 T6 T2 a6 H/ \
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
T' X+ w5 Y' A! ]7 W Actively participate in training initiatives
. e6 {$ N) s0 S$ i/ p Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:; y4 i3 z! y1 e( G3 z7 h
% i& o7 {6 Z- U- N$ B% R+ T, V& b7 ~ High School and or Post Secondary Education
( s! k+ ~% p6 T0 M# \+ j6 M- R5 R Previous customer service experience
7 [) J9 Y" b" G2 | `# i Previous sales experience an asset
' ~/ l* @) X! {4 M @: K' ]! V5 l General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain5 ^! }6 E. J; }' q
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
) ?& {' K6 H0 g- k/ o) a Strong analytical and organizational skills
+ X5 Z- a0 U/ `2 j. _+ k Excellent verbal and written communication skills
