(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

/ q5 u: |3 }7 s2 u. h7 @4 P; Mto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
- D* \7 F/ {3 i& }2 wof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
3 ^) {2 C% m: U. ]! `look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
3 b2 X- Q( w% Y } wof directional information.

3 v) E$ I I) S% O. Z. NBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening + r* A6 z& `8 l3 L6 h0 c7 \1 C( C
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend * f, L' f0 y& V: I" T& I5 C
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
7 e& Z4 k Z, _( W2 v5 J1 Zevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 9 N* z5 n9 P4 s, J
Hawrelak Park.

7 a% i( C+ B* U8 d+ [You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
, B, }* y$ w' y3 T* ?September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
; M9 e! y! U" Dand then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you t9 O1 L% W! ]
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
; ]) Y9 K0 E7 K5 M" \& @your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your " J4 G6 x7 t) H- K
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process $ d' x( e% J% f t- ]) Z
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
5 E: r3 n/ k7 e; ~of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 6 ~' O: w% H! x: O
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
; Q9 V6 p$ N# q. h& [Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
& q4 X N6 s) p. K6 ?; g0 v& H( Kbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
7 J; o8 ]- e3 d0 T( Q; _two days of Orientation).& P" V$ ~, Z0 R. O
