Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By |4 h- @6 u5 L% J G! k
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
6 V; @* c: ~5 |# E; `look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
" R9 i, z* A+ E5 cof directional information.

8 L9 R! X4 e5 y% }+ ?$ Q) a$ d2 qBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ! j% T8 a# C+ O) w! q
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
" _- r- s3 c* ~) K( l Xa variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
5 f5 P4 }9 T& B( t( S3 y" w" P8 revening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
2 U$ Q6 A# f4 m8 W+ Z3 U5 pHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on / Y; W! r! Y: c* }
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
$ e2 b# Q$ q& O% o: Oto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
4 E$ u& `. W6 S% zyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your $ B6 y* l% \% f* [/ e t
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
. V! z/ R8 e/ k7 _" l) W9 r0 o; j. yyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
# |: K0 O) ~% F7 Yof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 5 H$ N/ B& }0 K5 [
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
; {) n# u7 Z! F- oInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ' n, C. {2 I! h3 R: ~$ _
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the . x8 j. `! |% V. X- Y# r
two days of Orientation).
