-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
9 G) s  q* Q- K8 |8 d/ Q-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

9 u& I/ ?4 G' o1 l* d2 vIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

) m0 n1 H& y) ^& {* {THE COURSE OFFERS:

+ q) U( G+ n2 g, I3 i•        Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
•        Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
•        Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
3 E; T0 x7 }& s( Q* H* s•        Information about community agencies and services.
•        Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
& Y, s6 A) f) T1 m" M$ W•        Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
