When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic% i1 Y# P, `& N; V
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and & L" a$ {7 N7 l; X. b! @• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or . \2 z* {* P. u: J• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.1 X. If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
