This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).4 r9 _' Z$ r: |3 f& S/ P1 |
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic $ L/ Y- C b% Ocondition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and 1 F6 J, ]9 A& a• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or: o% ^" E2 m7 J8 `5 U9 O6 s/ v6 Z
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy. 1 K2 d5 p2 V1 y' U1 AIf “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
