When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic - g, b8 v7 `' u7 c1 R; qcondition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and ) {4 B( R# s$ w2 l" k% {9 T) [2 w• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or) a% f6 B0 A: I7 K( q
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy." x3 X, Q4 B" A+ F A
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
