* w# c5 f3 g) }! DRCMP have been ticketing and towing drivers without valid BC driver's licences, and Chinese drivers in the city of Richmond were predominantly affected.% `0 S. l) n/ B1 b: ~, h
& a% H! e, r0 x1 DICBC said the licences were OK, but the RCMP disagreed, saying if the officer could not read the language on documents handed over by a driver, they could not tell if it was indeed a licence.6 V) z, r0 T* U. D D2 t( S
