Immigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents.

9 Q5 @5 R' V/ H4 x: ~/ CIn the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items. 8 \, b; \6 A1 z' M

“The tools are a symbol of hope for people trying to build new lives in Edmonton,” said Madeline Sarafinchan, president of the Edmonton Real Estate Board. 5 b0 H+ V. Z- D
