, K) @$ k) r( WImmigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents.

In the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.

“The tools are a symbol of hope for people trying to build new lives in Edmonton,” said Madeline Sarafinchan, president of the Edmonton Real Estate Board. & I4 k4 M3 Y/ I: B& B# L O" g

The program was announced by a group called Changing Together… A Centre for Immigrant Women. 5 {; X- d2 N* Z. g* B* N
