1 w1 D# F. f* U9 l$ n) k. ~& A2 [We are very pleased with our ginseng quality this year. International ginseng prices for this year’s ginseng harvest have more than doubled since last year. The ginseng buyers from China will pay us the same amount for our ginseng as what we are charging our mail order customers. Ginseng prices are high because there are 75% fewer ginseng growers than there were 5 years so yield will be down by 40% and demand will remain high. 90% of all the ginseng harvest for 2013 was bought by the Chinese ginseng buyers from China in April - this is the ginseng that is still in the ground; not dug, washed or dried. Up until two years ago - ginseng prices were below the cost of production for 10 years in a row - this is the reason for the great decline in ginseng growers in North America . We want to serve our loyal customers but we have to charge international ginseng prices. Prices are expected to remain high for another 5 years. ( S6 x* A; a* S% A

For each 5 pounds of ginseng ordered at one time, we will provide 1/2 pound of ginseng root hairs for free. Ginseng root hairs contain the highest levels of the active ingredients called ginsenocides and they are excellent for ginseng tea.

This ginseng is not graded or clipped; therefore it comes in different sizes – it is packaged into one pound bags after it is dried. The quality is superior and it comes right from the farm.
