Close the cold water valve to the water tank if you have one; 7 \( R; I% B/ K2 K! u( XShut down the hot water tank by closing the temperature switch to off; 2 b! k- G# \; m& E. N; e2 uOpen the drain valve at the bottom to drain all the water out; ' N/ }8 O( A7 X. QThen remove the expansion valve, go to home or Canadian tire. they all have one. ) j, o' Q; `; U* {, g; x! e" p- I* K: G# b) H9 \3 y7 k

The humidifier is even simpler. The drain hose is supposed to have water go thorough the humidifier filter inside the housing and then goes to drain when furnace is on." _4 {, C2 E, C7 P/ F3 D. c
