We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

POSITION: Junior Accountant/ V# L, t: t; r

/ }" b& n; V% K• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.& A9 k3 Q ?7 q: p6 P" ~" i
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.% m) b" Q. N3 z1 S' b
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study3 {0 l) n. j* }3 {
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills5 K% P3 Z9 \1 A: Y2 R
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
5 o7 W/ a, Q6 B7 x& P• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry), m: H8 Y7 S" {) [
