We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:; T& p' ^8 ~- g5 @ z
0 D2 n& n/ ]3 R• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.3 @9 \+ w* H9 t6 L; G! X: Y# {/ _2 S5 S
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
" \ l4 Q# r) f- }• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

" E$ D9 @6 g& \0 _1 S• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role' X0 }; a- O, N
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study! G6 X5 U; k Z8 X2 l
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills. x6 g+ v! J: Q- W- x# A
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
