We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

9 H/ g2 l( J4 E. z3 J• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.% d% P5 @. `. W1 L% X% t
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.- q: O4 b& D$ }( @) N# Q) L
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

5 @& }6 s1 p. x. ~& z• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
7 b; n# ^7 n: P• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
# b# {! S) I- ^2 q9 Y: d• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
6 G) d. j. D |, I$ e# i• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
