-探索在加拿大如何从自己的种族有效地扮演父母的角色
-如何让孩子培养纪律，怎样建立信任和支持关系
4 w, c; u6 b9 I% |2 U; t-探索有效的沟通方法
-探索教养策略及解决问题的能力
-了解正面管教及怎样运用
( X) [9 |& G1 K-正视家庭暴力问题
! P% k$ k" B" |7 J# w" B-透过与其他家长接触以建立更强的网络

! _5 r- y0 s% g7 tfor immigrant/refugee parents to:
$ h5 V1 r4 f; a$ L0 u5 i•        Find out how to parent effectively in the Canadian context while drawing strengths from your own ethnic identity.
•        Explore ways to build trusting and supportive relationships with your children.
•        Discover opportunities to effectively communicate in our families and communities.
•        Explore parenting strategies and problem solving from each other.
# }5 n( v- a- d, b•        Strengthen support networks by connecting with other parents.
