& D( P9 p; w& OModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
  g- d5 c  n" M2 K+ V/ T1 t* @Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
, U4 ~; V+ i7 ^1 I8 H2 ]& _Rectify arising problems or complaints
7 r  R0 ?* U) Y+ L' aGive prepared plates the “final touch”
9 D: O+ T. M  \! ^Perform administrative duties
' G  m0 g2 m5 B; _7 ?Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
