Agriculture And Food , Edmonton - The Technology Solutions Branch of Information Technology Services is looking for a Systems Analyst to join the support team responsible for shrink-wrap software running on the Ministry's in-house server infrastructure.

This position delivers technical analysis, support, installation, maintenance and modifications to Agriculture's software infrastructure services. Work is performed in concert with related hardware, network and business applications support areas. You will be a member of a diverse team that produces innovative solutions; performs complex diagnosis of problems providing solutions within the areas of responsibility; and coordinates implementation of software fixes and enhancements.

Qualifications: University graduation in computer science and several years' related experience is required. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft and Linux server operating systems is required. Knowledge and experience in a variety of disciplines that include software services support processes, methodologies, and standards; system testing principles, methodologies, and standards; ITIL principles; and project management principles is desired.
