I saw God's image in a homeless man.

Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
"I am going to send it back".
, ?6 L  G% I1 U! b5 _5 ]! ]I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
"I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
. x. q1 c7 h9 m" s" c"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"
"Yes, I did."
4 u4 z4 n8 w: r, Y0 \! |Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
+ Q  I: v" n$ g4 QHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.
"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
4 O& g+ S# d7 q0 V- w"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
) v- u0 @5 O- J4 w/ CHe took out his  wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
0 P$ T* d" R0 k, b$ e4 Q* _2 lI gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:
"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"
* b( D2 c$ ]9 U"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:
"I do not have an address."
& N/ h  {* n/ c" N& BI was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"
6 s- N& Q% X  ]9 e* m  c6 ]9 W4 SHe did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
He did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.

if you'd like care about those homeless who sleep at LRT station, you may visit those homeless my wife and provide some food to them. I once met some homeless at downtown LRT station in winter morning 7:00 am, those people are very pitiful, they need some food.
