EDMONTON -- A 32-year-old Edmonton woman charged in the death of a foster boy has made a brief court appearance, but the case was put over to March 5.

* d9 m: h& W; _/ r2 YThe woman's new lawyer, Robbie Davidson, said he couldn't go ahead without receiving more information from the Crown.$ s$ D1 v2 D b" o+ `; o3 o$ A
- A& b0 \2 V2 R d" h# U5 Z1 MDavidson said outside court it is not unusual for information such as autopsy results to be delayed, especially in what he called "a complex case."% M f4 E2 F+ b2 e4 b

Davidson also told court he'll be seeking bail for his client.( Z3 v$ S& f5 a4 ~) G

The foster mother was charged with second-degree murder last week after a three-year-old boy she was caring for died of brain trauma.
