DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
( p; c  ?5 [# K! Z0 v6 m& _6 f9 L   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
+ B4 H3 U& Z: g9 U" t1 x  |   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
0 T+ W! G, t% J& O8 H" r: z   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
+ @2 v5 c: ?* ^2 [0 m   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
) a( o# Z  D% S( E+ n" G& W• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
5 N3 w' M6 ^3 ]7 @/ h% l• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
6 R- C2 G7 k7 m3 lSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
6 B1 b8 n9 j! m• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
- ^) w% }. g& k• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
9 o" t% M& t! I6 \7 B  }, C2 D1 \• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
9 N: R0 ]6 U6 p6 Z( T• Certification should include some or all of the following:
2 o: K  i# o1 V6 X: s1 k% l+ @  E   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
5 F6 X" |  Z& ?4 F- w   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
2 C; C. `+ t" d0 ~• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
9 m4 N& G, l" ~8 {& Z, L8 z) [5 F• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

" z7 x" P& n4 f• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
