亚省医生投票赞成提高费用的草案: Z3 G6 b0 h# J1 m; I; {

亚省医疗协会主席称，该草案会使亚省医生在大概一年半后首次提高医疗费用，以此达到在经济繁荣的亚省留住医生的目的，但是这不一定代表对于病人的医疗水平会随之提高。

盖瑞医生在周六的新闻发布会上说，我们希望这能够留住亚省医生，也希望能够吸引外省医生来到亚省从业，进而提高医疗水平。但是“任何财政协议都会提高医疗水平“的说法是一个过大的假设。

- U: O" s1 ~ b5 t7 g+ _EDMONTON (CP) - A tentative deal that would see Alberta doctors receive their first fee increase in almost a year-and-a-half should help retain physicians in the booming province, but it won't necessarily improve patient care, says the president of the Alberta Medical Association.

- U9 [) s/ A9 _) L"It will keep physicians hopefully in this province. It will hopefully attract more physicians to this province and therefore has the potential to improve care," Dr. Gerry Kiefer said at a news conference Saturday. % _9 z' Y/ M: j4 s! V

"But to say that any fiscal agreement is going to improve that care would be making a huge assumption."
