* v% j6 v5 I8 L( o( @PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.4 h- F* o5 Z) R) i& w) \
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
" P8 Y+ _9 t3 l" N! A; D" TRead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
' q% U+ B9 A1 vCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
# g u' P p( [( R; C( V! c+ aInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications
# G; ^5 u' S5 i4 [+ `% SContribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
$ k, k& \: @4 P ]- {" m& w: oManage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
0 r1 J' `1 N" J5 jLead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
! j( S, C% { W/ d c mCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences9 I3 Q" ?+ R) ]$ O3 \* _! }
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
; R0 V+ }. d0 GWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
8 T P9 W6 g: s9 A% X! J& W9 @" xEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.8 ], R* A1 P1 a9 @# J& f% n
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional). p* m# d; `9 D0 x+ r) K
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
1 t% t0 x- n4 ~5 v/ r, b! PWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing; S% p1 K3 I8 W
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure- H/ O2 L7 q6 c( J
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.1 z) L; x9 R4 Z# z' ? R! t5 _9 m

3 a* W. {" B" @0 j# n6 \( v% f- MBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College* R/ B J- m% ~$ g* P
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
" N7 j8 J! O( y8 C: h6 AAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)# }( _. W4 ]$ a1 V6 B
Experience interpreting process control documents.
# Y5 l/ y- K- EExcellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities" T" d5 J" E' Y5 I8 {& ?
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards( y: R$ W9 A7 P) y: B: f5 ]" P
Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies7 `, t8 {5 J! F! n0 j

Understanding of hydraulics and fundamentals of fluid mechanics and previous experience with water treatment systems1 q7 I$ f7 p5 G0 i! X" C
Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.- u, _" `6 @: W( ~7 Y+ ]2 a
Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.); r9 h: w$ y: z* ~% P
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment
4 r7 h: r6 e7 {7 x# b7 B JAbility to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents& h# K7 I7 ]/ z0 x1 E7 c' R8 ^
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision7 B( O' C1 h+ `0 d
Ability to schedule, prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously
