3 P2 _! o4 H% T* R0 ~' q. y5 s$ `/ ?The procurement officer is responsible for:
: Y  z# g9 Y1 O5 O-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

- Sound research skills
2 }" B5 r: Z( v& \- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
4 W& }) [- D  P. i, j- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
0 R  V/ I8 e( A8 @  ?# \" z- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
