' r! o2 I, \' a- VThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
& f- W$ {( T* n' N0 [' |-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
. v4 ~; G' B0 c-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
) ^& x% P5 I+ g& T. Y4 i* N-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
) t2 x2 w6 u0 _3 ~" h
4 X, s2 s) v$ P4 m7 N& GRequirements:
- Sound research skills
) Q4 H6 r/ |/ I8 p% Q3 B8 k- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
' J$ Q. p! V) i& K! O- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
! \% j& v. f) z- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
* Z& r. R0 r) M  j+ d1 c- ]. T- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
