+ b* d6 D+ H) l% q' \This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

4 r) F4 ?% P8 @The procurement officer is responsible for:
+ X) X' {' w  r6 {# y6 \-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
. N2 h8 C( d0 Q-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
7 A) U" P' V1 O9 }9 w-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
2 h0 ], ^2 ^+ }- Sound research skills
& a# H6 n7 k5 {- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
! W4 d( O. ^; D% L5 B4 E- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
3 W0 R7 c) G6 V' @2 g- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
" ?; U1 t/ J. r: z- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
