This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
* o( d. i0 [0 E) Z% {-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
# v# e1 M4 c; q! E5 a6 u. u-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
) {2 V3 y1 \+ o4 S! x2 N+ Z-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
& i+ {- G' s3 H" Q) c6 ?3 L-        Building and managing supplier relationships
7 Q; L7 w+ {& E0 P3 t* @8 n-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

" H5 N. L) P3 SRequirements:
- Sound research skills
3 |. U9 H# u/ I8 u' o, m) d9 F! g- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
