CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

Responsibilities:
" C6 o$ t/ w: i# ]% \•        Manage all accounting transactions
•        Publish financial statements in time
•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
5 v/ R' N- c' n' I" X$ D2 F•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
1 n! K1 L1 D& J% P# n1 ?•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
1 h1 L7 `) n/ q0 l  m" ^8 R. M•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
- t8 W' B0 w. u! r' B, J•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Accountant Requirements:

% P1 F8 U. Y+ l; k' ]•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
# |' r$ q8 {7 R5 [9 Z; [. a* y& [•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
( _0 X  i9 {$ N  e5 L( f•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
4 `$ c! q6 i% m; h  x' b•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
3 a) j* a* C: \, I6 P$ T4 w•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6 B# C, l/ Y8 o% d•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.
