CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

8 m1 H6 r( W0 z1 a· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

" \# Y* l& O! a" z( A) M) I· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
" \  n9 a* K" _
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

( U% l+ ^  N3 e· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

$ F# x: l3 b) r3 S8 b1 d+ z# s· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

( i. N1 f4 k, M  P4 C3 H7 x6 s· Operate manual and automatic shifts

( [% b0 ^  K5 R& @- Q. f· Secure loads safely
% N, M9 X, l7 b/ L5 P; ^
: Y4 N+ S5 X8 y+ _8 A& c· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
" Y+ m9 ~  [5 B
9 u. i: ~7 @+ L/ S· Valid Class 1 license
* G" a  T* ~' Q; d; x: e
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

. e& }# s# D  A2 a· Excellent organizational and time management skills

& T# v8 Q: ]' g0 ~1 B· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

- ~5 T0 ]. G5 G/ Y, V4 C8 m' h· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
