CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
2 r) k  b" e( }; O3 w
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

. O! {1 }; s  x9 t· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

' }) c; I$ I. x# O, L/ u· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
! [& |- [: X5 N* Y
+ y* ~2 I2 i8 ]$ G8 R& i· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license
7 x+ n8 t6 K  X$ m) K* |
/ y- a1 z) x8 p7 `5 \· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification
7 A  r9 T% r% H+ Q
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
