Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

1 O. @4 }. }# t  ~· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
2 K$ u8 D$ }4 h  g: [
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
8 \- {7 N. I3 b7 r
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

& C+ x0 a# X9 `· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
1 ?+ P/ M0 |6 W/ y' z7 M
· Minimum 3 years experience

- d8 o9 f9 {* b: {· Valid Class 1 license

& {% z9 M5 O" y$ U· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

3 B. i, s  h2 b) g0 Q· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

  u; r1 `7 G+ r$ _0 ?7 k· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
