; x6 v  R5 I2 ?% LDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
6 r1 R. v/ E3 ~/ u+ Xtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
2 H) q5 n4 _: K! \6 Dfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
" n5 A3 e9 _: ^3 S3 ]6 L/ j5 cinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
8 ^% _% `. `4 s$ @% tcompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
& s) ~6 Y" {! X; e& f- m4 Qseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
