The University of Alberta - Department of Chemistry is currently
recruiting for the position of Laboratory Technician Assistant - Job No.

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

  M: h4 ^4 h$ B; ~% R$ k" p4 f3 B- TDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
: Q' _( ]1 t0 k& x6 B3 mfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic

of a team essential.
