Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat

4 N0 @. `- m% t/ k: y) Y! c9 t) xHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
) B9 b$ @3 b9 I2 [# s. n- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
' X7 {  v" X" N6 \( ]: A& qthe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
* U7 ]' [9 M8 W1 v1 l1 v9 ~school year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and

; _) `" O3 e( [+ k4 s7 ]  vtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
) J1 }) w/ O: R5 w8 G( Dassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
. w% s+ q& o3 Kexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
: R" o" j4 E$ b" w3 Zfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
2 `; r2 z- f2 y& j- H, S% ?- H. A) Qsuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
  S/ t' B' S- l! G7 H8 Kpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
0 C% A9 A5 z9 c) y4 dfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
! m4 ^/ Z/ \: G) `: j9 {( i) Ademonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
1 h! a6 [1 L$ D( n/ v9 Qskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
$ T# A, d" c# C$ ^; F8 yexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
