Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat

Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
6 ?% R0 B1 P5 T7 Dthe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

: [! d/ f2 A0 Z; uDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
. y7 y& F5 L3 L1 H5 ICIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
0 c+ I$ z9 e: ^* v0 Uvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
/ w( B, T3 y5 r- Vetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
$ o. Z7 {6 M/ q+ M" @participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
! Q3 e( K2 @6 S# ]their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
1 ~' I: z5 [6 D6 a: l, I# g5 Ftheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
# R8 M5 [( ~! u# \( w& uvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
( \1 \' u1 r. E& G4 }) {outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
* `8 D) C0 _" q: E( s3 L" q# ~such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
" U: k$ S& n. r, C! ]Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
; K3 D, [" o1 F$ V% k1 h! Udemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
% h; _9 n' e8 m% a; @6 Z% nof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
% n3 b: d" G: g2 vexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
