Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
; N) m5 X" q; R: R( m2 `& E' Wpay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

2 h7 Z1 K; z8 e* QHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
. r& V8 v0 H: E' a7 x! \- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
" E5 Y( {) n0 c& d, [the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

7 g5 H# k' U. I- q$ ]4 t+ Q& RDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
5 w" O) W+ l$ q" \3 G4 Hvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
/ u* v$ y; K0 ietc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
( U2 t& J; s& f3 @. Lassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
, G7 \6 \0 i2 J* l. y5 B5 [6 L/ hexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
6 `/ M( {# e! \excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
- R4 S; B, s+ S$ K/ t! Nsuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
3 r, ]% z5 N5 bpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

! V3 E4 ~, A" F0 h! U( QQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
! Z7 w0 ~8 k$ s) R# |! D8 aCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
3 ^2 E) n# ^) tdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
8 _& `1 Y5 D# S4 L# Z- ], ta variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
4 @# `/ z/ n. w/ S% }3 Oof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
6 E6 n; t) t; l$ r- C+ C/ h* d/ VExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
