CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus' Z# U0 y' X# v. s$ y
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,4 k% h& q7 J6 B5 x4 @- r) P
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
4 g' F( Q/ p) }" {8 bparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
9 F( C: y! U+ @2 Ltheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during9 m/ z4 D, m4 F6 L' J7 r. p
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,9 D) U n/ Z b+ [9 }
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking6 _7 x/ `9 @& Y+ h: }. i f
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city8 i0 n D4 {- v- z* a" v' |
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city

excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or9 D# r# J4 |( ?5 p% @- V+ W& F
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

5 C* |) a4 ?, GQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
' R+ G5 k% L" O$ j# |2 MCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate' ?9 y0 E7 U* `' R, C. t
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,3 W0 k! W: @5 X& H, T
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
/ q% z+ t9 X8 b, Oa variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those* u' m4 Z0 i9 i9 l) i' s
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management" c2 O# N/ ?' U
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
2 H+ j9 E( H9 Q7 [Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,6 Z$ k4 }3 \# g) a$ W
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
