- are currently recruiting for the full time summer position of Urban
Geography Research Assistant.

Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for 30 hours per week.

This position is for 10 weeks total.

As an urban geography research assistant, you will be working on a
. |& }' L5 T" W5 o' tfunded project to examine changes in access to healthy food in Edmonton
5 v, P( G" [7 h; X9 j4 @between 1970 and present. Duties include searching electronic databases,
undertaking land title searches, manipulating databases and spreadsheets
. o$ X" ~% L% Vand GIS analysis and mapping.

Qualifications include an interest in urban geography, secondary
3 p) c3 n" L6 A, u, ^# i  [literature search proficiency, general research experience and GIS
7 X7 k; K) @4 h! w: J! qskills.
