JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the & J; b/ E: R: M: I j
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 6 U* S/ Z; a7 s, t% U1 ]& X
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,
5 b$ I. B8 ~: Y0 Fcleanliness and order in the bar. s* X3 H- c. f* W/ `3 e
4 P8 J/ ~- }# P: W$ ]; {DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/ v& E- G. B3 ^: W' C/ @
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and

5 [0 p# u& L9 O* Q2 A2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the ) t. `- o4 S" j. b6 V! c- W5 W" s, B# F
bar and debit floats.$ v& U2 D% T+ v# O8 I
) s0 }: \8 [9 Y- m/ D$ f* D
3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of : Q9 p& h0 k2 }& Y" H
each shift, and upon closing.

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular / t/ F( g6 ~ K$ y x% v
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
( J$ E [% z3 l/ @seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.( @4 p. T0 {0 ]( d) o1 A9 @
9 P. M8 \2 C: _+ a. z. ?7 B; R9 o5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
( j& T9 s3 V2 e5 `0 n) M& ustorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol 0 R+ ?3 k% C2 }+ n
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.: \$ j& H) j7 @1 M6 G! ~
6 R; R( p2 P; z+ a6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close , ?$ x* v( @. p. O
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a . t# e1 y; O- e& C4 ]$ z M
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
( b& t, u, z& w0 b1 Zaccordance with Students' Union policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
7 B7 S! I }- O; R( I1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

, B4 L5 Y- w: t1 `1 U* e# A) Y2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume R6 u& a4 G! I6 N
operation., q5 e; H$ V2 P% M) i% _3 f% \

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
9 s# r0 v* Q$ K Xaccordance with Students' Union policy.
