KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

8 t7 Z' @7 _0 W+ L1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. 6 ~0 |' U" @ J% A& ]
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China. " o8 p5 w' V& _; ]
3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms. % V2 T# e' ^- i/ w3 U
3 A0 r2 y8 n6 z1 L8 @6 `PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:4 w' v6 B( C/ D

1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable. ) {. x8 B' u' ~0 j& K% }
2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
# R5 u0 N* E/ l3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. 6 J x D, k7 o
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.4 O N0 _/ I" d) z, _- g6 p
5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. S6 V2 n* w9 j% F6 u9 u8 X, @- n
6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
