KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

' [9 p6 E# \7 d8 p. \0 n' p2 n1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
) V9 ?" D9 V+ R. W: Q- [, l# l2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
$ o5 M7 R5 [( q3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

2 |2 O' f: D6 m" T( T3 ~# [" o1 \1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
: e6 b" ^. K6 O) J8 ~2 J- \8 v2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
: t) T& H- ]" c( L# T3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
/ X# Y" D' }( o3 x7 @3 X3 m4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
. k9 d; a( _) [5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
7.        Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
