DOORPERSON (RATT)

6 {/ G3 x  V7 p1 P, U9 `JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
; }. C$ f+ b! @" ?policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

; g9 J. `5 g) i  x# B/ n# f( h0 NDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ H& K! |, q  I& L' Q2 f$ S1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
. \* x2 s& L# x! I  j
  J9 @5 S+ t1 a2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
1 O3 P: I6 Y9 S: e
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
, P1 i3 H- O# V! o) C8 g0 v( m) s0 Xof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
4 z7 p7 l! f& Y" O3 tconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

: v7 r  `1 _! Z0 ~3 k5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

4 p1 F" B6 r/ C0 j1 XQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
9 Q5 Y  W! Y- Ycalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

  a# \9 |7 m5 l: W# s. a3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
