DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

& m/ S( F+ A2 p1 `DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
. N/ X; o$ Z0 A7 Rand are University affiliated.

) Z) x0 {9 o/ W; H1 y8 o2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
0 \; ~, g. E& I: ?  C9 \of garbage.

5 c! s2 K3 d5 {1 X3 Q4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
. ^4 E- |) y1 E6 q0 yarea when required.

. f* c* z. r3 S' F( C6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

! o8 P* h& s4 ~3 I+ O1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

- K" h; V7 }- g! C7 y2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
; [- Y% v. i: J$ ncalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
) p! q% u7 P8 H5 p4 ?6 W8 j; i
4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
