DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
8 R& `: `2 ?* `* i$ b' k6 J(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
! D& n5 Z8 m' H9 u8 h1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
1 r( Y  _; s/ jand are University affiliated.

. T9 P0 ^- O7 t. a6 p/ i2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
) M6 v& _/ E% A, r
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
& A" s: P3 I  V! |: jconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
# h1 B3 ], Z+ j' t' D8 F
5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
5 W0 N/ W- W) AManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

7 U  X3 t4 P' I& [, c6 y) m% O& FQUALIFICATIONS;
% h5 ]% p3 ?3 t1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
% O3 A  {( I- Q4 Vof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
3 \0 O, I7 \+ H; o2 A3 `calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

  D; D0 z0 t& ?) j& U3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

3 O  r* H+ n7 x5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
