the Students' Union and oversees all electoral logistics as per Bylaw ; X4 o2 O; C( T. N
2000. The Chief Returning Officer shall be recommended to Students'

Standing Orders by April 15 and serve from May 1 to April 30 of the 1 W5 A* H3 Z7 ]' `' D0 w
year following their appointment.

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.4 z+ G4 n! n+ ]

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing # H$ I/ z5 _) A
adequate poll staff and situating polls at appropriate locations
& ]' G8 Y# m+ n7 B5 Dacross campus, and advertising the poll locations.

4 P( ^/ Z9 Z# s) H7 Z5) To oversee the physical count of the ballots during elections/ : W0 A8 B7 E0 g' E( ?% k- \/ K/ }8 k

7) To facilitate classroom speaking arrangements during an election/ : a" G. B1 S3 `/ [ T& A

minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday, ! y. Z8 w& i1 C" G9 k$ r/ `
from the first working day after nominations close until the last day 8 l" b4 P; x3 S% N. U
of voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.

11) To act as the arbitrator in any dispute which may arise during

process is in place.

13) To submit to Students' Council, prior to April 30, a final report ( D7 P/ }# R0 d7 F- _
of activities and recommendations.

14) To organize a minimum of one (1) forum to be held during the week

15) Perform other job related duties as required by the Council

1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course
: i& V) O# V5 k4 a8 kfor each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students' 4 u4 G$ I+ b2 R* P+ C
Union member.
2 K5 T5 J9 e) x# G; d x* ~/ j" m5 Y! j- m5 z
2) Must have some experience in student elections.
" ]& G- i" c6 ~8 {3 _+ k/ m( M# ]3 a: g, J4 P
3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or ! m0 j& n3 R6 F d3 b, p
any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position

4) Willingness and ability to work varying hours.) B# f4 E. K5 x
