JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.
* W) d8 Z3 Z3 O& a
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

& X2 }$ N3 C! S! X, s1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.
( [+ P5 Z5 R( |6 e  A. N6 L4 u
2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
1 m# t) |2 c, D4 hCapital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

+ I) k# N1 F# ?) b: e8 L4 K4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
; R% _8 w1 C2 h* C- p$ Ldeliveries.
( ]4 ^6 C+ C; @& D
5) Assist with monthly food inventory.
. b; S" d5 y0 q7 q  H
2 V/ V) l$ B" B4 O: c# e: F6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Powerplant operating hours.

7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
Manager.

1 m$ |( I4 _4 E& s. U
1 t7 E& ^: t; B2 y( x1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

5 d8 A, l" e/ Y0 l2) Previous experience with food inventories.
# \# z3 M% M3 z/ }; @9 F
4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
% T) w7 Z: e+ n0 O4 h
4 q/ ~' Z8 K- S( Q* O$ u5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
