The University of Alberta Students´ Union has been contracted by the

) S( ^* x6 b+ ]2 E- ltargeting the issue of violence on Whyte Avenue. As a Brand ) B3 g! G, }( J9 \8 R; b! s
Ambassador, you will be part of a 5-person promotions team that will / c1 y& f) h" r1 S0 g
communicate our campaign messaging and distribute branded giveaways
8 B# `1 }7 s' Q( r3 Lto patrons in and around nightclubs on Whyte Avenue*. For this part- $ V; i2 C2 G* y$ [: P( t$ Z" R
time, temporary position we are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing,

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:. Q: f) A1 z/ T

1) Distribute promotional materials for the "Be a Lover,
4 W. |7 z, `( n9 [not a Fighter" campaign in and around bars and nightclubs on Whyte

, u! X6 {* C, ^$ N5 E. a2) Approach patrons in and around bars and nightclubs on & {" \" e, v7 b8 H2 v+ i
Whyte Avenue* to discuss the issue of violence.

" o+ g2 Y9 T1 l3) Communicate campaign messaging to patrons regarding
5 S* X* ]1 M. n5 o/ ?" j1 a4 nviolence on Whyte Avenue*.

4) Assist in the implementation (including: distribution,
' [5 W& v3 L3 I/ C% g( r3 A$ Ysetup, maintenance, and tear down) of street level advertising

Remuneration: $30.00 / hour

0 `8 l$ h3 S* U# g% f+ @one-hour training session (at the rate of $15/hour) scheduled at a ! c6 ^% I" H# V; t
time (probably June 27th 2007) during the week before their first shift.
