the
followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
; e  R9 e- S5 N6 C- t0 G+ ttheatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2
2 z7 u& r2 V3 K" x* P2 w/ P% `
instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
! T: G3 e6 a( ]* _Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
1 m3 }, D; @. z* v/ g- d8 XAchievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
: L7 w& K8 z2 J1 y: S! T  \Development
Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The
" A! s2 o; q/ [- G! u0 O0 N
performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
