JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
% N" ], S: o$ t; S" D8 Y, n6 }SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical # V$ x0 C+ r$ v. z8 P9 Z& \2 v! x9 R
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
9 [! [ V5 L8 i& ]( m: l1 w" nof Course Pack production.) C; d5 e! K) B4 t( K8 b

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
7 |' M" I. C5 m! e4 ` v1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning , [ \% b- R/ u* ]6 b$ o1 H
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.- r+ k- n7 h: E( o9 H1 s$ D
. D( }( i5 k: I) Q/ u+ _8 \, e2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
8 T5 D' i# i# jprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.: k, Y* Y4 Q" j+ P; ~
6 s( _( |0 s9 {+ W$ H6 p3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
0 }! F8 M7 _* A( U9 F6 b% H. Xcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and A/ P1 V: I) W4 G
keeping appropriate and accurate records.8 X: }' {$ n( C- S: d
: t! P, Z5 W$ P7 T, w: y4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
) t7 @/ c- R; w# Dfailures to the Operations Manager.# s5 Q9 i# r& z; [( E
5 S0 y6 A6 O6 A! S2 d5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 8 F+ l8 n/ ^, o+ l
and adhere to regulations as appropriate./ @; n& L* E6 R8 O, x& y+ Z

QUALIFICATIONS:/ p) w) m0 a$ Y# ?
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
3 T9 i/ d' [! l+ i: X; T2 O2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
8 D5 |# j9 N; j2 B. `( `" P2 Z4 Qskills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.7 R* V7 x( i- a( t, R! l

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
